Michael the Brave (Romanian: Mihai Viteazu(l) or Mihai Bravu) 1558 – 9 August 1601, was the Prince of Wallachia (as Michael II, 1593–1601), Prince of Moldavia (1600) and de factoruler of Transylvania(1599–1600). He is considered one of Romania's greatest national heroes, and he is seen by Romanian historiography as the first author of Romanian unity.

To celebrate the November 1st 1599 entry in Alba Iulia, the Capital city of Medieval Transylvania, we will be using the special call sign YR0MB between October 20th and November 1st of 2018

The free electronic award is open to two way.

You need to make 3 QSO's only on HF bands. Repeats are allowed on different bands and/or different modes and days. In the same day are allowed more QSO's but on different band or modes.

QSL are available via eQSL, LoTW and paper QSL. If you want a paper QSL, verify the QSO in our "log search", email us at ajralba@yahoo.com and we will send it via bureau.
